Marshall Pierite is the founder and owner of the Pierite Group, LLC, a Louisiana-based company that provides business advisory services. A native Louisianan, Marshall began his career by serving in the United States Marine Corps with a military occupational specialty in administration. Following his military service, Marshall returned to work for the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana as a medical clerk. After receiving progressive promotions within the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana's Health Department, he became the Tunica-Biloxi Social Services Department Director. While leading the Social Services Department, Marshall was elected to the Tunica-Biloxi Tribal Council. For more than 20 years, Marshall held several elected positions on the Council, including Secretary-Treasurer, Vice-Chairman, and Chairman of the Tribe. During his time on the Council, Marshall worked on government operations, budgeting, infrastructure development, economic development, community development, and tax policy development. As a long-time leader in Indian Country, Marshall has extensive government operations experience and has expertise navigating federal regulations, government-to-government negotiations, and relationship building between governmental and private entities. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe. Through this position, he hopes to establish unity and purpose, create wealth and opportunity, and provide accessibility and accountability to all Tribal members. Concurrent to Marshall's service in the Tribal government, he also excelled in several leadership positions in corporate governance. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of MobiLoans, a financial services corporation. Under Marshall's leadership, MobiLoans grew from a small start-up company to a multi-million dollar national financial service institution. As Chief Executive Officer, he oversaw a multi-million dollar portfolio, all while creating workforce development opportunities for Louisiana's citizens. Due to his outstanding service, Marshall was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of MobiLoans, a position he currently holds. Marshall has also served in key leadership positions on several boards and committees with private, Tribal, and non-profit organizations. Nationally, Marshall was selected to serve as:

  • Chairman and co-chairman of the Board of Carcieri Task Force

  • Board Member of the United States Chamber of Commerce/NAEI

  • Board Member of the United South and Eastern Tribes (USET)

  • Board Member of the National Online Lending Alliance

  • Board Liaison Officer to Tunica-Biloxi Economic Development Corporation

  • Mentor to Tunica-Biloxi Youth Council

  • Committee Member of the USET Social Services Program

Pierite is a leading advocate to regulate tribal lending. It was through his leadership that the Tunica-Biloxi Tribal Lending Commission was formed. He is also a founding member of the Louisiana chapter of the American Indian Chamber of Commerce and founder of The Young Adult Leadership Council for Native American country.


Dan Davis is an accomplished executive, founding and leading Southern Research Group (SRG) as a full service political/business consulting, public relations and marketing research firm since 1985. Dan has more than three decades of experience in comprehensive consultative research and marketing solutions, including health-related research for Mississippi and other states. He is a successful B2B/B2C marketing/sales strategist.

With four national advertising awards, editorial features and several trade publications, Dan has diversified business development and organization improvement experiences. He has significant quantitative and qualitative research skills, having conducted more than 5,000 marketing and political studies for clients across the United States, the European Union, Mexico and portions of Southeast Asia.

Dan has also conducted political issue campaigns on behalf of several Fortune 500 companies that involve both elections and legislative actions. He is an advocate and strategist for Native American Tribes throughout the U.S and a global consultant for the gaming industry, having experience working with 13 of the 15 largest gaming companies in the world.

Dan is a visionary fully capable of realizing his dreams and those of his client’s. He and his team have experience in healthcare, banking, retail, restaurants, gaming, technology, utilities and communications industries.


Ms. Chaisson has dedicated her career to advocating and serving Indian Country. She's worked with the Inter-Tribal Council of Louisiana/Institute for Indian Development since 1994. As the former Program Director for the Institute for Indian Development, Domestic Violence Program, Ms. Chaisson was on the frontlines of serving Louisiana Native American women, men, and children who survived family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence. In that role, Ms. Chaisson oversaw a comprehensive wrap-around service model that provided supportive services, including legal services, safety, empowerment, and paths to self-sufficiency. She also developed educational components and led community efforts to raise awareness among community members about domestic violence. Today, she is a member of the Louisiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Violence Against Women Taskforce.

Ms. Chaisson also had the opportunity to serve as the Job Developer for the Inter-Tribal Council of Louisiana and administered employment and training programs for Native Americans throughout Louisiana. She currently serves on a regional Workforce Investment Board representing and advocating for increased opportunity and investment for Native Americans.

Ms. Chaisson is a proud alumnus of the American Indian Opportunity (AIO) Ambassadors Program, a national organization that provides capacity building and Indigenous values-based leadership development for Native American professionals to strengthen their ability to grow their communities. The Ambassadors Program inspired her to continue her journey as a servant leader, advocate, and role model for her community. As a former Tribal Council member and an active member of the United Houma Nation (UHN), Ms. Chaisson, served as:

  • Board Treasurer (Eastern Region Representative), American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association

  • Member of the U.S. Department of Labor Native American Employment and Training Council

  • Former Chairperson of the UHN Personnel Committee

  • Member of the Personnel Committee

  • Formal UHN delegate to the National Congress of American Indians for twelve years

Ms. Chaisson has maintained her commitment to workforce development for Native Americans and serves on the Planning Committee for the National Indian Native American employment and Training Conference.


James Robinson is a seasoned and experienced executive that has led local, regional and national start-ups, Tribal enterprises, and 8(a) certified companies. He has led multiple development efforts for the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians over the course of his career that resulted in expanded housing assets, infrastructure, real estate development, and economic development for the Tribe and surrounding communities. In addition to his work in Tribal operations and administration, James has vast experience across the aerospace, defense, sales, marketing, and product development in the private sector.
